Tracking the warmest day of the week this afternoon

SLOW CLIMB

WEDNESDAY: Staying quiet again today. With hardly a cloud in the sky, temperatures will warm into the middle 60’s this afternoon. A light westerly breeze will keep things stirred up today.

TONIGHT: The mostly clear skies are here to stay overnight. Lows will cool off into the middle 30’s once again.

EXTENDED: Winds will turn easterly on Thursday, which might get us closer to the low 60’s but still a gorgeous day. Our next storm system approaches the area on Friday, bringing some clouds to fill the sky. Most, if not all, of us will stay dry but if we pick up a stray sprinkle or two it would be near the Lake of the Ozarks. The bigger impact will be some cooler temperatures to close out the week, in the middle 50’s. We’re back into that Spring-like feel this weekend, into the upper 50’s Saturday and low 60’s Sunday. We keep warming into early next week, with highs in the middle 60’s with rain chances holding off until late Tuesday.
