Tracking a cloudy and cooler Sunday

TODAY: Lingering showers are possible this morning but clear by the afternoon. Clouds overnight have helped us stay very warm, with most of us hanging on to the 50s to start the morning. Unfortunately, these clouds will keep us from warming much more during the day. Winds have picked up behind the rain; expect gusts up to 25 mph this afternoon.

MONDAY: Clouds will retreat from the area overnight and into the morning. Temperatures will start off chillier in the mid-20s, but we'll be able to warm back to the 50s again with the sunshine.

EXTENDED: A weak disturbance will pass to our south on Tuesday to try to bring more rain. Chances so far are low, and we could stay entirely dry. Once that passes through we continue to stay clear with temperatures approaching the 60s again by Wednesday and Thursday. Another system on the way for Thursday night into Friday looks to bring more rain, but it won't shake temperatures too much as we stick to the 50s.
