Tracking some cooler weather for the rest of the week

COOLING DOWN

WEDNESDAY: A cold front moving through this morning will knock temperatures back for the afternoon. Highs will only make it into the mid to upper 40’s under partly cloudy skies. Winds out of the northwest will keep us from warming up quite as much as we did yesterday.

TONIGHT: Those northerly winds will stick around tonight, pushing lows down into the upper 20’s.

EXTENDED: A few more clouds will be in the sky Thursday, but won’t have much of an impact on temperatures. Highs will top out in the 40’s, and stay there on Friday with some brighter skies. We’ll be tracking a disturbance moving through on Friday, but looks to keep the precipitation south of the viewing area. Sunshine returns for Saturday, bumping temperatures into the upper 50’s. It’ll be the better bet to do something outside this weekend, with rain chances returning Sunday. A stationary boundary will set up just to our south, keeping the heaviest of the rain out of the area. But a few passing showers will be possible Sunday into Monday. We’ll see temperatures fall back into the upper 40’s to start next week.
