Tracking a nice end to the week

more sunshine

FRIDAY: Another bitterly cold start, but it might be the last one for a little while. Plenty of sunshine will help temperatures bounce back out of the single digits to near 30 this afternoon.

TONIGHT: Our wind will swing out of the south during the day. That will help us out a little overnight, keeping temperatures from getting back into the single digits, bottoming out in the teens.

EXTENDED: We’re staying dry on Saturday with temperatures continuing to climb. We’ll top out in the upper 30’s with a few 40’s making a return. Our next storm system enters the picture Sunday. It could start out as a light wintry mix if it moves in during the morning, but should transition to a cold sprinkle by the afternoon. Highs will top out in the upper 30’s to close out the weekend. We get back to climbing Monday with temperatures bumping up into the upper 40’s. Tuesday looks to be the warmest day we’ve seen in some time, with highs in the upper 50’s. Our next shot at precipitation moves in towards the middle of next week. It doesn’t appear to be anything problematic at this time.
