Tracking a chance to reach 50° this afternoon

warmer

WEDNESDAY: After a chilly start, winds will pick up out of the southwest into this afternoon. Those, along with plenty of sunshine will coax temperatures into the upper 40’s to near 50.

TONIGHT: Partly cloudy skies stick around tonight, but it will be a little warmer. Lows will still cool off into the low 30’s.

EXTENDED: A bit of a warmer start and some more sunshine will get us into the 50’s tomorrow with a little more ease. Unfortunately, a cold front will sneak through during the day and put an end to the warming trend. Friday highs will fall back into the 30’s, but we’ll keep the sunshine. Clouds increase on Saturday with the cool weather sticking around. Our next notable storm system moves in Sunday, but will also warm us up into the mid to upper 40’s. Rain looks to be off and on throughout the final day of the weekend and spill over into Monday. With the system a bit closer Monday, the rain will likely be steadier to start the week. As the system wraps up Monday night into Tuesday morning, a few wet snowflakes will be possible. At this point, it doesn’t look like anything concerning, but we’ll be tracking it through this weekend.
