Another beautiful day ahead Thursday, wintry temps return for the weekend

THIS EVENING: An excellent evening to get out and about. Bring the jackets because we'll start falling off into the 50s and 40s quickly... but the air will be pleasant if you're looking to get out for a bite eat or a walk.

TONIGHT: A quiet, cool night is in store tonight. Lows will fall into the middle 30’s overnight.

EXTENDED: More of the same on Thursday with temperatures reaching the low to mid 60’s. Rain moves back in early Friday and will likely stick around throughout the day. Temperatures will be too warm to worry about anything wintry but might get there Saturday. This system will be moving northeast of us to start the weekend, moving cooler air in on the backside of it. As that happens, questions remain how long enough moisture will stick around. It’s possible we put a bow on this system Saturday morning with a few flurries. Nothing impactful is expected at this point, with our northern counties seeing the best shot at a light grassy accumulation. Bigger story will be the cooler air moving in this weekend with highs in the 40’s Saturday and 30’s Sunday. The start of next week looks like a decent rebound with highs back in the 40’s at least.
