Tracking rain and chilly temperatures to start the weekend

TONIGHT: Cloudy and chilly with lows in the mid-40s. Showers by dawn for areas south of Highway 50.

TOMORROW: Rain becomes more widespread, with 1-2" possible. Highs in the upper 40s.

EXTENDED: Rain exits early Sunday, leaving us with clouds and a cool day in the upper 40s. We start off next week dry with temperatures near 50 in the afternoon on Monday, followed by another strong low pressure system on Monday night into Tuesday that will bring more widespread rainfall through early Wednesday. Temperatures will be more seasonable in the low to mid-50s through Thanksgiving and Black Friday with dry weather expected. Another big cool down could be looming by next weekend, but it's something we'll keep a close eye on as the week progresses.
