Tracking more sunny skies this afternoon
THURSDAY: It doesn’t look to be quite as warm as we got yesterday. Temperatures will top out in the low 80’s with more sunshine to go around. A few more clouds will move in than we’ve seen, but looks like we’ll stay dry again with any sprinkles staying south.
TONIGHT: The quiet weather sticks around tonight with lows backing off into the upper 50’s under mostly clear skies.
EXTENDED: Another warm afternoon will get us to the weekend on Friday. We’ll be tracking cloud cover both Friday and Saturday, but should stay dry. A disturbance will move in Friday, bringing some clouds, but Delta will be responsible for Saturday’s. Any of the rain associated with what’s left of Delta will stay to our southeast. Highs will top out in the upper 70’s to low 80’s, depending on the cloud cover all the way through the weekend. Our next big weather-maker is waiting for us on Monday. Still a bit uncertain on how this will play out, but there is a scenario where we could be starting off the week stormy. We will cool down to seasonal norms on the other side of Columbus Day.
