Tracking a warm Labor Day

LABOR DAY: We’re still tracking a cold front just to our north this morning. That will continue to slide south this morning, and may be just enough to get one or two showers going along it. Most of us will stay dry, but that small threat for rain will be there throughout the day with highs in the upper 80’s.

TONIGHT: There's a small chance of rain overnight tonight. Lows will fall into the lower 70s and upper 60s.

EXTENDED:  A better shot at rain looks to be Tuesday with another disturbance rolling along that front. Highs still look to make it into the low 80’s. The cooling trend continues into Wednesday, with afternoon temperatures only managing the low to middle 70’s. That’s where highs will settle for the rest of the abbreviated workweek, as rain chances will linger. This front leading to those lingering rain chances will get moved out by this weekend with highs still in the 70’s.
