Tracking a bright, chilly afternoon setting up
FRIDAY: Showers are still working through the area this morning. Expect those to stick around until 8-9 this morning before drier conditions start to push in. Those drier conditions will be brought in by breezy northerly winds, with some gusts up to 25 mph. Those winds will keep us out of the 60's today, even with plenty of sunshine into the afternoon.
TONIGHT: High pressure settles overhead, relaxing winds and leading to a chilly night. Lows fall into the middle 30's, leading to some patch frost waking up tomorrow.
EXTENDED: Saturday recovers nicely after a cold start into the low 60's. Rain chances look like they'll clip the northern half of the viewing area Saturday night into Sunday morning. Most of that activity should move out in time for any outdoor plans on Mother's Day Sunday, with highs near 60. Rain chances will be around on Monday, but there's a chance we stay dry all day. From about Tuesday on, those rain chances become a little better.
