Sunshine sticking around to close out the week
FRIDAY: After a chilly start, temperatures will rebound with plenty of sunshine and much less wind. Highs will reach the middle 50's once again.
TONIGHT: Clouds will increase late ahead of our next weather system. Wouldn't completely rule out some spotty sprinkles, but it's looking like the measurable rain will hold off for Saturday. Lows will fall into the low 40's.
EXTENDED: Rain chances look better toward Saturday morning, but toward the afternoon look to thin out. Temperatures will make it into the low 60's. If rain stays away and a few breaks in the clouds develop, temperatures could get into the middle 60's. Showers and a few thunderstorms look like a better bet Sunday. There may be an ingredient or two in play for a strong storm, but nothing appears to hint at decent severe chances yet. A lot will be riding on the track of the low-pressure system. Right now looks to slide just about overhead, which makes for a tricky forecast. If it jogs a bit further north, might have better chances at storms organizing. Further south, might bring the idea of a few snowflakes into the equation. One thing it will do is drag down another reinforcing shot of cool air, keeping highs in the 40's and 50's next week, with overnight lows flirting with the freezing mark.
