Tracking a warmup starting off the week

WARMING UP TODAY

MONDAY: Clouds have stuck around this morning, and we may squeeze a spot sprinkle out but most of us will stay dry. Temperatures will get into the upper 60's and low 70's with a steady southerly wind, even with sunshine at a premium today.

TONIGHT: That southerly breeze and mostly cloudy skies overnight will keep things mild, with lows near 60.

EXTENDED: A slightly better shot at sunshine looks to be in store Tuesday as temperatures top out in the mid to upper 70's. Storms could get going in the evening as Mother Nature tries to blow off some steam. If we do get storms going, some of them could contain some hail and gusty winds. Things stay warm for one more day Wednesday with highs in the 70s before cooler air settles in toward the weekend. A cold front will move through with some outside chances for rain Wednesday evening. Temperatures get knocked back into the 50's Thursday and Friday. It looks like we'll stay a bit below average during the weekend itself with some more isolated rain chances.
