Tracking more isolated rain chances today
FRIDAY: Showers will be possible this morning, but will be more widespread this afternoon. Some may even be accompanied by a few rumbles of thunder, but nothing severe. Temperatures will start out mild, reaching the upper 50's and low 60's early in the day. But a cold front sliding through will drop us into the upper 40's and low 50's by this afternoon.
TONIGHT: Showers will be stubborn to leave tonight. Lows fall back into the upper 30's with colder air continuing to funnel in.
EXTENDED: Rain finally exits for Saturday, but temperatures will stay cool. Highs for the first day of the weekend look to top out in the middle 50s, with plenty of clouds. Sunshine returns Sunday and so do the 60's, making it the runaway better day this weekend. The warming trend continues into the first half of next week. Highs Monday through Wednesday look to visit the mid to upper 70's, but some lackluster rain chances will be part of the forecast. Doesn't look like anything widespread as of right now, but just may want to know where the umbrella is. Wednesday and Thursday appear dry at this point.
