Cooler temperatures inbound

FRIDAY: Showers will become more widespread this afternoon, and we are tracking the possibility for some thunderstorms to make it into the area. A cold front has already started to push into the area, and by this afternoon, we will be seeing temperatures in the upper 50s for many of us.

TONIGHT: Showers will be stubborn to leave tonight. Temperatures will free-fall into the upper 30s overnight, with winds keeping things pretty chilly outside.

EXTENDED: Rain finally exits for Saturday, but temperatures will stay cool. Saturday may be the day you want to stay inside with cooler temperatures and plentiful clouds, but Sunday will be beautiful with temperatures stretching into the upper 60s once more as the sun makes a comeback. This weekend will remain dry, and the warming trend will continue until the start of the work-week. The first part of next week is trending to be in the lower 70s, but later in the week, we may see a cooldown.
