Tracking more showers and storms this morning

STORM CHANCES

THIS AFTERNOON: Rain showers have tapered off, leaving us wet and gloomy across the area. Temperatures will remain mild through the evening.

TONIGHT: Mostly quiet but cloudy with lows in the upper 50's. Rain chances move back in after midnight.

EXTENDED: Showers and storms will have pushed in for the early portion of Thursday. Moderate to heavy rain expected at times with one or two cells producing some small hail possibly. This activity and how long it lasts will set the stage for our afternoon. If it can move out quick enough, the atmosphere will try to recover and redevelop some storms in the late afternoon/early evening window. However, if it lasts too long into the afternoon, we won't have that same chance and will likely stay dry. If redevelopment is had, it will come with a severe threat. All threats would be on the table, but this is still dependent on how things unfold. We'll be tracking this over the next day so stick with us. After this active weather, things quiet down into the weekend. Cooler weather will move in alongside that quiet weather, with highs in the 40's through Sunday.
