Tracking rain chances moving out, momentarily

drying out

TONIGHT: Lingering drizzle and mist will start to taper off from west to east overnight, leaving mostly cloudy skies overhead. Lows look to fall back into the low 30's.

SUNDAY: Cloud cover sticks around for another gloomy day to close out the weekend. Highs reach the upper 40's.

EXTENDED: Rain chances will be on the return on Monday. This latest system looks to bring some light rain back in to kick off the week. Highs look to make it into the upper 40's and low 50's. Dry weather gives us a break on Tuesday but more rain chances are in store Wednesday and Thursday. Temperatures will top out in the 60's by the middle of the week, with a chance to push 70 Thursday. That will give us enough energy to fuel some thunderstorms on Thursday. Still a bit too early to tell about strength of the storms but something we'll be tracking throughout the week. That soggy theme will continue into Friday.
