Beautiful weekend weather expected, rain arrives Monday

FRIDAY: Mostly sunny skies look to stick around through this afternoon. Highs will be a bit cooler, in the low 50's but winds won't be as breezy today.

TONIGHT: Mostly clear skies overhead will help get temperatures into the low 30's.

EXTENDED: Winds will swing out of a more southerly direction into Saturday, which will boost those afternoon highs back into the low 60's with more sunshine on the way. Those bright conditions look to stick around Sunday as we get into the mid to upper 60's. Rain chances hold off until the overnight hours Sunday into Monday morning. A rumble of thunder still looks to be possible, but nothing severe. It will stay soggy Monday with some of us picking up around an inch of rainfall by the time this system departs. Things look like they may be gloomy Tuesday, but dry weather should prevail before our next shot of rain moves in Wednesday. Highs during the first part of next week look to bounce around in the mid to upper 50's.
