Tracking cooler air returning today
TUESDAY: Steady north winds will be the driver in our weather today. They look to hold afternoon highs in the upper 30s and low 40s as clouds look to filter out of mid-Missouri by this afternoon.
TONIGHT: Partly cloudy skies will lead to a cooler night with a slight breeze. Lows fall back to the low 20s.
EXTENDED: Quiet weather continues into Wednesday, with sunshine to start out the day. Clouds look to move in thanks to a disturbance moving to our south and west. That will bring light snow chances to places outside the viewing area like Kansas City and Springfield, but we look to stay dry. Highs will be stuck in the 30s on Wednesday. It looks like more of the same Thursday before we start warming up into the 40s Friday as high pressure slides off to our east. We keep the ball rolling with 50s in store for Saturday before our next chance of rain moves in Sunday.
