Finally settling down, for now
TUESDAY: Things look slick in some spots as heading out this morning. Temperatures will start out around 10 but will improve more than yesterday, topping out near the freezing mark with more sunshine.
TONIGHT: Clouds will increase overnight. That, combined with winds out of the south will keep temperatures in the 20s overnight.
EXTENDED: We're tracking another storm system set for Wednesday, with another wintry mix possible. Highs will only manage the mid to upper 30s, so the difference between liquid rain and winter weather will be a fine line. These rain chances stick around Thursday and Friday, but will come in waves. Depending on the timing of things, rain will be favored during the afternoons, while a wintry mix would be preferred into the overnight hours. While a wintry mix/snow is an option, the current thinking is that there won't be enough cold air to cause an extended problem. Any slick spots we could see develop should be short-lived. By Saturday, high pressure finally settles in, with dry weather expected both days. 40's on Sunday look to break the streak of afternoon highs in the 30s.
