Quiet start to the week leading to an active close
TUESDAY: A pretty similar day in store as temperatures top out in the mid to upper 40s, with a mix of sun and clouds throughout the afternoon.
TONIGHT: Under mostly clear skies, temperatures will fall into the middle 20s, with some wind chills in the teens.
EXTENDED: Things stay quiet into Wednesday as temperatures reach to near 50. We'll get into the middle 50s Thursday thanks to a steady southerly wind before rain chances return by the afternoon. That rain looks to stick around off and on through the overnight hours and could linger through the day on Friday. By Friday night, another disturbance looks poised to move through the Midwest, bringing a renewed chance of rain, but will be pulling down some more cold air at the same time. That cold air could change our rain over to snow Friday night into Saturday before wrapping up sometime Saturday afternoon or evening. Still a little too early to talk amounts, but confidence is growing that we could see some impacts this weekend. Stay tuned with the forecast as we get closer. Sunday looks a little warmer, with temperatures in the middle 40s to close out the weekend.
