Another pleasant day, despite the cloud cover
FRIDAY: Cloudy skies will greet us heading out the door and will stick with us this afternoon as temperatures make it back into the low 50s.
TONIGHT: We're tracking a disturbance moving in tonight that will bring some light rain chances back along with some colder air. Some of that cold air will mix in and change some of those drops over to flakes, but no problems are anticipated at this point as light as it will be.
EXTENDED: Things should wrap up toward daybreak on Saturday, but the cold air will have moved in already, keeping highs in the upper 30s. We'll be tracking yet another disturbance into Sunday that will have a better chance at bringing some impacts. Snow looks to overtake Mid-Missouri by Sunday afternoon, and will stick around into the overnight hours. There's still plenty of questions as to how this is going to unfold, namely the track this system will be taking. That will determine what kind and how much precipitation you will receive. We will likely be seeing a sharp cutoff between who sees accumulating snow to a wintry mix to just a cold rain. This forecast will be fluctuating between now and Sunday, so stay tuned. Behind it, cold weather will linger for a good portion of next week, with highs in the 30s.
