Bracing for another shot of cold air
MONDAY: We're waking up to some mild temperatures with some light rain in the area. Those drizzle chances will stick with us toward this afternoon, but those mild temperatures will be leaving us. Winds will be picking up, moving in our latest shot of cold air. Temperatures will fall throughout the afternoon into the 30s, but that light drizzle will start to taper off toward this afternoon.
TONIGHT: With the rain having left us, the cold air will take its place. Overnight lows fall into the low 20s with wind chills just barely hanging on to the double digits by daybreak.
EXTENDED: We're stuck in the cold on Tuesday with afternoon highs only getting into the low to mid 30s with sunshine returning by the afternoon. Temperatures start to moderate as we move through the workweek, in the upper 30s to low 40s on Wednesday then the middle to upper 40s Thursday and Friday. Things look to stay fairly quiet until another disturbance moves through next weekend.
