Sixth Congressional District

The Sixth Congressional District covers a swatch of land across Missouri's northern half, including the Mid-Missouri counties of Chariton and Macon.

Incumbent Republican Rep. Sam Graves is retiring from Congress at the end of his term, leaving the seat open. That has drawn five Republicans seeking their party's nomination in August:

  • Jim Ingram of Kansas City;
  • Chris Stigall of Holt;
  • Nathan Hall Willett of Kansas City;
  • Cody Oschel of Maryville; and
  • Nathanael Schultz of Bowling Green.

The Democrats want their party's nomination in the deep-red district: Josh Smead of Liberty, Scot Pondelick of Kansas City and Matt Levine of Kansas City.

A Libertarian, Andy Maidment of Kearney, is also running.
