Tracking fall-like weather this weekend before warmth returns next week

TODAY: I'm tracking a cold start to the morning with temperatures in the mid-to-upper 30s, leading to potential frost across all of Mid-Missouri. By the afternoon, sunshine and light southeasterly winds take over, helping temperatures back into the low 60s.

TONIGHT: I'm tracking another cold night as temperatures drop back into the upper 30s. Another frost advisory will be in effect for some areas, but temperatures could get cold enough in lower-lying areas for frost to occur anywhere in Mid-Missouri. Clear skies and southeasterly winds at 5-10 mph are expected overnight.

EXTENDED: I'm tracking another sunny afternoon as temperatures warm into the mid-to-upper 60s Sunday. Slightly more cloud cover arrives Monday and Tuesday, but that won't stop temperatures from jumping back into the low to mid 70s. Dry, sunny conditions continue for the rest of the week, allowing temperatures to gradually warm each day, getting into the upper 70s Wednesday, then in the low 80s Thursday and Friday.
