Tracking a picture-perfect homecoming weekend

TODAY: Temperatures make it back to 70 degrees this afternoon with plenty of sunshine. High winds and low humidity contribute to an elevated fire risk and burning is not recommended.

TONIGHT: Skies remain clear with temperatures falling into the low 40s.

EXTENDED: Homecoming Saturday is picture-perfect but slightly warmer than average. Temperatures start in the 40s and climb to the low 70s by the end of the game. Highs remain in the mid-to-upper 70s through the middle of next week. A cold front brings limited rain on Tuesday and colder temperatures won't move in until another front, also mostly dry, brings a brief cooldown late week.
