Tracking much-needed rain early this week

TODAY: Scattered showers and storms are expected all of Sunday with the heaviest rain falling in the morning. Rain totals range between a few tenths of an inch to over 2 inches in the wettest spots. Temperatures will be noticeably milder in the 70s today.

TOMORROW: Rain continues into Monday and will again be heaviest in the morning. Temperatures will be well below average stuck in the 60s.

EXTENDED: Tuesday will see a final push of showers and storms out to the south while most of the area remains cool in the lower 70s. Midweek looks dry and just as mild while rain could make a return late in the week. There is a decent amount of uncertainty with this pattern especially in regard to late week rain chances.
