Tracking cooler air rolling in for the holiday

TODAY: Temperatures reach the low 80s this afternoon with constant sunshine. Winds out of the north could gust up to 15 mph.

LABOR DAY: Milder air settles in for the holiday with morning temperatures in the 50s and highs sticking to the 70s.

EXTENDED: Slightly below-average temperatures are expected throughout the week with plenty of sunshine most days. A late week system is set to roll through Missouri Thursday into Friday potentially bringing more scattered storm chances.
