Tracking scattered storms to end the workweek

TONIGHT: Scattered storms will be possible along I-70 and south but these lose strength after sundown. A cold front responsible for these storms will bring temperatures down to the 60s in the clearest spots overnight.

TOMORROW: Some storms will redevelop near I-44 Saturday afternoon, but most will be dry, and more mild feeling. Highs will reach the low 80s.

EXTENDED: Sunday is mostly the same with more sunshine but temperatures will keep falling early next week. Labor Day is great in the 70s and much of next week remains near or below average. Rain chances look low for the first week of September.
