Tracking severe storms possible tonight

TONIGHT: Thursday is an ABC 17 Stormtrack Weather Alert Day for potential severe storms this evening. The first of these storms arrives at 9-10 p.m. for Sedalia, Warsaw, and the Lake area. Storms will then track east to I-44 around midnight, with storms heading out late overnight. Jefferson City and places northward have a lower chance of storms and better conditions to get out for fireworks.

TOMORROW: Sunshine returns on Friday and humidity drops behind the rain. Highs will be comfortable in the lower 80s.

EXTENDED: Saturday is another pleasant and bright day with a high in the 80s. Sunday will start dry before rain chances work in overnight into Monday. An active pattern keeps spotty rain chances in the forecast through Wednesday.
