Tracking a few sprinkles today

THIS MORNING: Partly cloudy and chilly starting off near freezing. Sprinkles may try to make it to the ground but will mostly be soaked up by dry air.

TODAY: Sunshine will peek through this afternoon with highs in the mid-50s.

EXTENDED: A warm front lifts across Mid-Missouri on Friday, sending us into the 60s before an associated cold front moves in late afternoon. That will bring a chance for a spot shower or two. Behind the cold front, Saturday is cooler with highs in the mid-50s and increasing clouds. Sunday is a bit warmer again before rain rolls in, and widespread showers track in between Sunday night and early Tuesday. Rain amounts will end up around 1-1.5" through early Tuesday. We can expect a brief cool down with highs in the lower 50s by Tuesday. Temperatures look seasonable and we could potentially be dry by Easter weekend.
