Tracking quiet conditions returning early this week

TODAY: Snow and rain will exit quickly by midmorning, leaving light travel impacts across northern Missouri and toward Kansas City. Sunshine is expected to return by the afternoon helping clear up conditions. Winds will be strong from the north today though with highs only reaching the upper 30s.

TOMORROW: Dangerous wind chills in the teens and single digits will be possible behind this winter system early Monday. The feels-like remains near or below freezing all day even with clear skies.

EXTENDED: Temperatures improve into midweek with highs back into the 40s but expect cooler weather overall. Our next weather maker will move in late Thursday into Friday but temperatures don't currently support wintry precipitation with this system.
