RECALL ROUNDUP: Dog food and Hyundai vehicles recalled

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Hollywood Feed Carolina Made Chicken Chips

The Food and Drug Administration has recalled Hollywood Feed Carolina Made Chicken Chips.

Regulators issued the recall because the dog food has a potential salmonella threat.

This recall affects 5-ounce bags that were sold online and in stores in about 20 states, including Missouri according to the FDA.

The impacted bags have an expiration date of Dec. 11 2025.

Health officials say dogs that eat food with salmonella can suffer from nausea, fever and abdominal cramping. Humans who touch the product can also be affected with the same symptoms.

Hyundai vehicles recalled

Hyundai has recalled more than 226,000 SUV's and small cars.

The automaker issued the recalled because the rear-view camera image may not appear on screens which can reduce visibility and increase a person getting hit.

The recall impacts Sante Fe and Elantra vehicles:

  • 2021-2022 Hyundai Santa Fe
  • 2021-2022 Hyundai Elantra
  • 2022-2022 Hyundai Elantra N
  • 2021-2022 Hyundai Elantra HEV
  • 2021-2022 Hyundai Santa Fe HEV
  • 2022-2022 Hyundai Santa Fe PHV

The company says dealers will replace the cameras for owners for free and will be notified by mail early next year.
