Tracking mild conditions tonight and rain chances Saturday

TONIGHT: I'm tracking clouds building into the evening hours, and temperatures cooling off into the mid-70's by sundown, then into the high 50's by tomorrow morning. Winds will be shifting overnight from the south into the north west.

TOMORROW: I'm tracking to chances for rain in the Futuretrack. The first chance comes early to mid-morning as showers track through Missouri. This could last into kickoff for Mizzou's football game against K-State, but a break will be observed as we reach the early afternoon hours. Temperatures will be reaching only into the mid-70's after this first round of rain. In the mid-afternoon another round of showers ramp up with the potential of bringing strong storms. Mid-MO is currently in a 1/5 risk area, with the strongest storms having the potential for hail stones up to 1" in diameter and strong winds.

EXTENDED: I'm tracking a brief cooldown with the help of a frontal passage tomorrow, but starting up next week, temperatures will already be climbing back up into the low 80's. Sky cover will be mostly sunny to partly cloudy each day before mid-week, where another frontal passage could bring more chances for rainfall.
