Tracking a warm and humid start to the week

TONIGHT: It will be a dry and pleasant evening with lows falling into the mid 60s.

TOMORROW: It will be another warm and humid day with temperatures warming back into the low to mid 80s. Some spot rain showers could impact the area throughout the day.

EXTENDED: Rain chances will continue to hold steady throughout the forecast as another disturbance slides closer to mid-Missouri. As high pressure slides off to our southeast, low pressure will begin to push in from the northwest. Rain chances will increase as that low pressure system and cold front push closer to the area. Stormy conditions are expected to impact the area Thursday and Friday, and we're watching the potential for those to be on the stronger side. Temperatures will briefly fall into the upper 70s after that cold front pushes through, but most of the week will be spent in the 80s.
