Tracking clouds and cooler temperatures Thursday

TONIGHT: Increasing clouds and chilly with light north winds. Lows in the upper 20s.

TOMORROW: Partly to mostly cloudy and slightly cooler with highs in the mid-40s.

EXTENDED: Friday brings more sun during the day and sends us back to about 50, but a weak disturbance rolling through late in the day could bring some light evening showers. Once that clears out, we're left with a nice start to the weekend on Saturday as we make it to about 60 with mostly sunny skies. Another disturbance rolls by to our south on Sunday, keeping temperatures in the lower 50s and bringing a chance for some rain south of I-70. We're also watching for the potential of another weak system moving through Monday night into Tuesday that could bring more light precipitation with a rain/snow mix possible depending on the timing. We get into the 40s on Monday with highs near 50 on Tuesday, so even if we do see a brief window of mix, any impacts would be minimal. From there, temperatures look to head back above average into mid-next week.
