Tracking a windy and warm afternoon, mild again Thursday

THIS AFTERNOON: Mostly sunny with gusty southwest winds. Highs in the upper 40s to around 50.

TONIGHT: Mostly clear with lows in the upper 20s to around 30.

EXTENDED: Sunshine continues Thursday and temperatures remain in the low 50s. A cold front comes through Thursday night into Friday, dropping us back into the low to mid-20s into Friday morning. Friday afternoon is colder as temperatures remain in the upper 30s for highs. The weekend starts off chilly with highs in the upper 30s on Saturday with a few more clouds by evening. A warm front begins to lift north across the region Sunday, bringing a chance for a few showers as temperatures will remain in the low 40s. The front retreats south on Monday, bringing a chance for showers for areas south of I-70 during the day, with perhaps a mix into Monday evening for our southern counties.
