Tracking a few showers tomorrow, cool down by Friday
TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy with a spot shower possible. Lows in the upper 40s.
TOMORROW: Chance of a few showers or storms. Highs in the mid-60s.
EXTENDED: With some cloud cover around tonight, we remain in the upper 40s heading into Thursday morning. A cold front works east tomorrow, triggering a few showers and thunderstorms. Coverage is looking sparse, but temperatures will be a bit cooler in the wake of that with highs in the mid-upper 60s. With a secondary dry front rolling through Thursday night, temperatures drop off into the lower 40s with highs in the upper 50s on Friday. High pressure builds in with winds coming from the north, leaving us with highs in the upper 50s Friday. Friday night will be chilly with patchy frost across northern Missouri as lows fall into the upper 30s. Saturday starts off cool, but we can look forward to a very pleasant weekend with highs in the upper 60s Saturday and upper 70s on Sunday with sunshine. Another cold front arrives Monday, bringing the chance of a few showers or storms and slightly cooler temperatures for mid-week. We'll see a better shot at measurable rain between Wednesday and Thursday of next week.
