Tracking rising temperatures and sunshine until Friday night rain

TODAY: Wednesday will start cold, but after a big warm up, we'll end the day with highs in the low 30s. Winds will start from the east, then turn from the south west and sustain around 5-10 mph.

TONIGHT: Temperatures retain the warmth we gain today, only falling into the 20s, which is warmer than this morning's arctic dip.

EXTENDED: Another sunny day is expected Thursday, with highs expected near 40. South winds are amplified Friday, with highs expected near 50 despite added clouds. Clouds increase alongside a chance for rain with a cold from Friday night. Showers will pass through, possibly mixing with a few snow flakes overnight. This will mostly exit by sunrise on Saturday, leaving the weekend largely dry. Arctic air does spill in behind this system, so our warmth will be short-lived. Highs are expected in the teens by Sunday.
