Tracking continued snowfall tonight, bitterly cold with road impacts into Monday
TONIGHT: Snow showers through late with cloudy skies. Gusty winds with lows near 10 degrees and wind chills in the single digits.
TOMORROW: Mostly cloudy and cold with highs near 20. Gusty winds with wind chills in the low teens.
EXTENDED: Snow showers move out late tonight, with very little precipitation lingering by sunrise. Strong winds from the northwest continue throughout the day, keeping wind chills in the low teens. We'll see more sunshine by Tuesday, but temperatures start out near zero. A Weather Alert Day will likely be issued through Thursday morning for low temperatures in the single digits. By the end of the week, we'll be tracking slightly warmer temperatures on Friday with lows near 20 and a high near 30, but a fast moving system may bring some light snow showers. Cold air sticks around for the weekend with highs near freezing and lows in the teens. Another system could bring a shot at light snow on Sunday, followed by another arctic blast that will drop temperatures much below normal yet again.
