Tracking overnight showers and storms ahead of a cold front

Tonight: Showers and storms will begin to fire up ahead of an approaching cold front moving in from the northeast. The main threat tonight will be stronger winds up to 60 mph. Storms will become more widespread tonight after 2 am with chances for strong to severe diminishing. Overnight lows bottom out into the lower 70's.

Tomorrow: Sunday morning starts out with showers and storms south of highway 70 continuing to move to the southeast. Showers will eventually push out of Central Missouri around noon and skies will slowly begin to clear as temperatures only top out into the lower 80's.

Extended: Monday will see partly cloudy skies with winds out of the northwest at 10-15 mph. afternoon highs will top out into the early 80's once again with a slight warming trend to the mid-80's by Tuesday. The second half of the week sees temperatures climb into the lower 90's with chances of showers and storms returning Friday and Saturday
