Tracking dangerous heat to start the week

Tonight: Light isolated showers will begin to dissipate late tonight leading to partly cloudy overnight conditions. The overnight lows bottom out into the mid to upper 70's.

Tomorrow: Scattered early morning showers and storms will pull through Central Missouri before exiting by noon. Temperatures will quickly begin to rise by the early afternoon hours to upper 90's. The heat index surpasses 105 degrees leading to dangerous conditions.

Extended: Dangerous heat will last through Wednesday afternoon as the heat index remains above 100 degrees. Conditions remain dry until late Wednesday night and Thursday afternoon bringing chances of isolated showers and storms. Temperatures remain in the lower 90's throughout the duration of the week.
