Tracking a cool start to the workweek before a warming trend ahead

Tonight: Temperatures will continue to fall thanks to winds pushing in from the northwest. The overnight low drops to the mid-'30s with counties to the north of Randolph falling to freezing leading to a chance of morning frost. Rain will continue to push to off to the east exiting Central Missouri after 10 pm.

Tomorrow: Temperatures slowly begin to rise topping out near the mid-'50s as winds gust up to 30 mph. Skies become mostly sunny by the early afternoon hours.

Extended: A warming trend begins Tuesday that is set to continue into this weekend. Chances of showers increase Tuesday night with showers widespread throughout Wednesday. Chances of scattered showers stay with Mid-Missouri into the weekend as highs top out into the upper '70s.
