Tracking snow that has triggered a Weather Alert Day for Saturday
TONIGHT
Rain showers will increase in coverage this evening, before turning over to snow from north to south. The onset of snow looks to begin after 7PM in the north, and move south overnight. Temperatures will drop into the upper 20's overnight.
SATURDAY
Once the changeover occurs, it will stay as snow falling into Saturday morning. Roads will likely start to deteriorate after midnight, and accumulations will grow area wide. Most accumulations will range from less than two inches near Warsaw, to as much as 6 inches near Macon and Paris, if not more locally.
EXTENDED
For the latest details on who will see what, head over to the Weather Alert Day Insider Blog. Temperatures fall Saturday night, reaching the low teens. We’ll bounce back to the freezing mark on Sunday with more sunshine, especially early in the day. Highs step back up into the upper 30’s on Monday, warming even more into the low 50’s Tuesday. A front will set us back into the 30’s for highs on Wednesday, cooling a bit more by Thursday into the 20’s.
