Tracking temperatures back near normal and a dry week ahead

Tonight: Skies remain clear with winds out of the northwest at 5-10 mph. Overnight lows bottom out at 22 degrees.

Tomorrow: The morning starts out chilly with temperatures into the lower to mid-'20s. A clear sky with plenty of sun slowly warms Central Missouri to 40 degrees.

Extended: The next week is trending very dry with highs starting out in the upper '40s for Monday and Tuesday. By late week, temperatures continue to warm into the upper '50s. We are looking at an above-average Christmas with partly cloudy skies.
