Tracking a rainy Tuesday

TUESDAY: Showers will have a hard time letting go today. We'll be tracking rain coming and going throughout the day until late this afternoon. It'll be some 20 degrees colder today, with highs stuck in the upper 50's and low 60's. A northerly breeze will make sure of that.

TONIGHT: The clouds depart pretty quickly after the rain takes off this evening. Under partly cloudy skies, temperatures will tumble into the low to mid 40's.

EXTENDED: We'll get to enjoy a dry Cinco de Mayo tomorrow with lots of sunshine to start out the day. Highs will top out in the middle 60's. Get out and enjoy it because rain chances return Thursday as a frontal boundary moves through. Some of those showers may start falling as early as Wednesday night, but the better shot still lies on Thursday around midday. That will keep temperatures in the mid 60's to end the week. As we head into the weekend, temperatures will get a little closer to seasonal norms, but we'll be tracking more rain. Our next round looks to move in late Friday night, ahead of what could be a soggy weekend. Some of the exact details are still a little out of reach, but keep an eye on this forecast if you have any outdoor plans.
