Tracking a cooler Tuesday followed by mild temperatures through Saturday
TONIGHT: Mostly clear and chilly with lows in the low 30s. Winds diminishing to about 5 mph.
TOMORROW: Mostly sunny and cooler with highs in the low 50s.
EXTENDED: The jet stream lifts well to our north by Wednesday, allowing winds to pick up from the south and gusts to 25-35 mph during the day. The strong southerly winds will push temperatures into the 60s Wednesday, followed by more sunshine and near 70s for Thursday and Friday. We start off warm over the weekend with highs in the upper 60s on Saturday, despite cloud cover moving in ahead of our next front. The cold front arrives Saturday night, bringing widespread rainfall and cooler temperatures through Sunday. Rain tapers off late Sunday afternoon, leaving us with 50s for highs to end the weekend. Rain amounts will likely end up around 1".
