Cooldown leads to rain chances this weekend

TONIGHT: Clouds will increase again overnight with temperatures falling to near 70. A few showers/storms are possible by tomorrow morning.

SATURDAY: A complex of showers looks to roll through the southern half of mid-Missouri between sunrise and lunch tomorrow. Those from Jeff City to the Lake will want the umbrella in the morning. We will get a bit of a break in the early afternoon before more showers bubble up into the evening. Severe weather is not expected. Expect much cooler air for this weekend.

EXTENDED: Several more ripples of low pressure are expected to pass through the region which will lead to continued rain chances into the beginning of next week. Temperatures should remain below average nearly all of next week. Any major heat and humidity is hard to find in our mid-to-long range weather data.
