Tracking low humidity and cool temperatures Wednesday

TONIGHT: Mostly clear and nice with lows in the upper 50s to around 60.

TOMORROW: Mostly sunny and comfortable with highs near 80 and low humidity.

EXTENDED: Winds begin to shift in the upper levels of the atmosphere toward the end of the week, with high pressure building in from the south. Temperatures return to the upper 80s, and disturbances sliding along the edge of high pressure could give us chances for storms Friday through the weekend. High temperatures will flirt with 90 and lows will hover near 70 from the weekend into next week. Storms are possible each day, but severe weather chances look low as we'll be lacking sufficient wind shear for storms to become stronger. The best chances for more organized storms will be across northern Missouri through Monday.
