Strong cold front brings winter-like temperatures this week
TONIGHT: A strong cold front will be much colder temperatures to the area tonight. Lows will fall into the upper 20s. A hard freeze is possible. Any growers will want to take proper precautions for their outdoor plants.
MONDAY: After a cold start, we remain cold for much of the day tomorrow. Highs only reach into the mid 40s with a stiff northerly breeze. Skies will remain partly cloudy.
EXTENDED: Clouds will increase Tuesday as a weak system passes through the area. No precip is expected due to dry air in place. Several ripples of low pressure will allow the cold air to remain stuck in place for much of this week. This may bring a chance at a few rain or even snow showers depending on the timing. Temperatures will slowly start to warm back up by the weekend.
