Drier skies return to mid-Missouri Tuesday

THIS AFTERNOON: Rain showers will taper off this afternoon leaving us cloudy this evening. Temperatures will hang out in the mid 40s.

TONIGHT:  Clouds stick around. Lows will drop into the upper 30s and low 40s. Patchy fog is possible as well.

EXTENDED: A beautiful day looks to be in store on Wednesday, with a healthy dose of sunshine in store and highs reaching back into the low to mid 60's. We'll trade out the sunshine for a few more degrees on Thursday, pushing highs into the low 70's. Storm chances return on Friday, with a chance some could be on the strong side. Some of that showery activity could linger into Saturday, with cooler weather sliding in, with highs in the 60's.
